Net Preamble
Calling the Genesis Amateur Radio
Society and all radio Amateurs.
Good evening, this
is (callsign), my name is (Name) and you are tuned into the Genesis
Amateur Radio
Society information and ragchew net. This net meets every Tuesday
evening at
7:30pm on the N1ZIZ repeater with a frequency of 146.685 Mhz and a PL
of 131.8
Mhz for the purpose of socializing and exchanging radio related
information. This is a directed net. When you call up, please say “This
is” followed by a carrier drop to prevent doubling with other
stations. Then state your callsign, name, and location. I will then
take
comments from each station in turn.
The net will now
stand by for any station with emergency or priority traffic. Stations with
emergency or priority traffic, please call now.
Stations wishing
to check into the net, please call now.
After all
stations have had their turn, ask if there are an upcoming events, club notes,
net news.
Before I close
the net, I would like to invite any and all radio amateurs listening to come to
our meeting the last Monday of the month at 7pm, at the Plymouth Public Library, 132 South Street, Plymouth, MA.
I would like to
